Tender & Technical Office Mechanical Engineer
• Preparing projects cost estimation during tendering stage (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumping).
• Estimate and scope Mechanical trades during pre-construction.
• Supervise review and coordination of submitting and shop drawings.
• Maintain and manage all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs.
• Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.
• Deliver all warranties, as-built and training to the owner.
• Performing other duties related to the job.
• Review and approve material and equipment for Mechanical systems prior to installation.
• Coordinate activities, materials procurement and other related activities with Project Manager and Field Staff.
• Communicate progress and prepare appropriate reports as needed.
• Supervise review and coordination of submitting and shop drawings.
• Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, specification, BOQ, etc.).
• Design review including equipment sizing.
• Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
• Review shop drawings and details for HVAC, Firefighting, Plumping and coordinate with other trades and follow up their approval process with the project consultant.
• Prepare technical and material submittals.
• Provide and gather all the required technical documents such as drawings, manuals and instructions for construction team.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• AutoCAD
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Well known about tendering and procurement.
• Good communication skills.
• Males Only.
• Experience: 4 to 7 years in technical office
