We have an open opportunity in HSE Department for the following position
➡️ Contractor HSE Supervisor / Contractor HSE Engineer.
Basic Function :
Assist Contractor HSE management in executing HSE activities related to construction and commissioning/start-up of facilities, evaluation and improvement in both contractor’s and subcontractor’s safety performances. Assist Construction/Pre-commissioning team in HSE Field inspections monitoring, development and revisions of HSE procedures, HSE plans and deliverables.
Scope :
Reports to Contractor Construction/Pre-commissioning area HSE Superintendents, HSE area coordinators. Provide necessary fundamental to intermediate level HSE support to Contractor during the project execution process. Work assignments will encompass coordination of the following activities: reviews of Construction/Pre-commissioning HSE related documents/deliverables, participation in filed HSE walkthroughs and HSE inspections using CSSP checklists, conduct HSE reviews, attendance to construction safety meetings(i.e.; to subcontractors daily tool box, weekly progress, HSE management meetings), prepare field inspections and walkthrough reports, performs continuous HSE site surveys and HSE monitoring of personnel and equipment working in the area of responsibility; provides HSE awareness to employees and conduct stand-down meetings, detects and reports unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and near misses; conduct focus audits/reviews on various HSE concerns in Construction/Pre-commissioning stages of the project; supports/assists contractor Construction and Pre-commissioning team in SIMOPS activities; and provides/support on developing best Construction and Pre-commissioning HSE practices and implementations which includes the activities during day, extended hours and night work based on the duty schedule among others . Data gathering, analysis and record keeping is intrinsic to the nature of Construction/Pre-commissioning works performed at work locations, which might also require consultation of standards and specifications.
Contractor HSE Supervisors/HSE Engineers tasks’ reference frame will be contract HSE specifications, the safety requirements mentioned in CSSP and other Contractor HSE plans and procedures, Schedules-B&D of contract, Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual (CSM), Saudi Aramco General Instructions(GIs), Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention Safety Management Guides(SMGs) and other international recommended and generally recognized best construction safety engineering practices. Contractor HSE Supervisors’ performance and achievements has invaluable and crucial impact on Contractor safety performance in the project.
Contractor Construction/Pre-commissioning HSE Supervisors/HSE Engineers, receive work assignments and priorities from HSE superintendent/HSE area coordinator; being capable for performing their routine task independently, but requiring periodic supervision and continuous support from contractor HSE management supervisory line.
Education : Bachelors, Science, Engineering / Safety and Occupational Health Or Diploma in Fires ‘Occupational Safety.
Minimum Yr.’s Experience : 5Yrs
Special Experience: Hazard Identification, Risk Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Incident Investigations, Safety Inspection Methodologies
