A leading multinational Civil Engineering company based in the UAE is urgently looking to hire multiple “Civil Engineers” for their high-impact projects in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
– Support Resident Engineer in managing daily construction activities on-site. – Hands on experience on construction of major roads, utilities and traffic management.
– Ensure Contractor's compliance with construction documents and regulations.
– Assist in reviewing Contractor’s submissions (shop drawings, materials, RFIs).
– Provide on-site direction and guidance for construction activities.
– Supervise site inspection staff as directed by Resident Engineer/ARE.
– Measure and assess work completed on-site.
– Enforce safety standards and practices on-site.
– Report project updates and issues to Resident Engineer/ARE.
– Monitor contractor’s resource allocation and workforce productivity.
– Assist in preparing and reviewing project close-out documentation.
– Participate in health and safety initiatives as required.
Requirements:
– Degree in Civil Engineering.
– Minimum of 7 years experience.
– Prior experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC.
– Be fully computer literate and proficient in using technology to access data, maintain records, and generate reports.
– Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Demonstrate strong technical writing abilities.
