🚀 MEECO Consultancy Group is expanding to Alexandria, and we’re building a top-tier team for high-voltage substation design projects across Egypt and the region.
👷♂️ We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented engineers with knowledge and experience in power system protection to join our Electrical Protection Design Team and contribute to high-quality substation projects.
Position: Protection / Secondary Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Good knowledge of protection systems in the substation and protection relay (ABB, Siemens, SEL, etc.)
🔹 Good Knowledge / Prepare SLDs with CT/VT data, logic diagrams, and signal lists
🔹 Knowledge of CT/VT sizing, relay settings (ETAP), and SCADA/SAS signal preparations

🎓 What We’re Looking For:
✔ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
✔ 0–3 years in substation/protection design
✔ Knowledge of protection principles (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.)
✔Familiarity with relevant software tools for power system modeling, simulation, and analysis: AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit (for design roles).
✔Strong communication & collaboration skills.
✔Leadership experience for senior roles.
✔Alexandria residents only, or the neighboring areas.
