Position: Architecture Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Reports to: Project management / cost controller
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Architecture Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the cost, quantity, and materials of construction projects within the architectural and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of both the technical and financial aspects of construction and be capable of overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects from design through to completion, ensuring that they remain within budget and comply with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Measurement and Quantification:
Conduct detailed measurements and take-offs of architectural plans, ensuring accurate quantification of materials and labor.
Use software tools to calculate quantities and materials required for construction projects.
Maintain a comprehensive record of all quantities for invoicing and reporting purposes.
Project Closeout and Final Accounts:
Ensure all necessary documentation for project closeout is completed, including final accounts and payments to contractors and subcontractors.
Provide final reports and reconciliations of project costs.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Quantity Surveyor or a similar role within the architecture, interior design and finishing sector.
Strong knowledge of architecture methods, materials, and techniques.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word),auto cade .
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Desirable:
Knowledge of (BIM), electricity, plumbing.
Experience in cost estimation software and project management tools.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position.
Some site visits may be required.
Occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
