1-Sales engineer -outdoor lighting systems – solar systems
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Engineer in the Solar Systems and outdoor lighting team in Cairo. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for reaching potential customers through phone and email, visiting client sites to assess their energy usage, and proposing solar electric systems that align with their requirements. The Sales Engineer will work closely with the design team to prepare necessary presentations, develop cost-effective and competitive proposals, and negotiate sales contracts. Moreover, they will create and maintain excellent customer relationships, addressing clients' inquiries and concerns, and provide high-quality pre-sale and post-sale services.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in:
pv solar systems, power storage systems, and/or renewable energy project implementations
Outdoor Solar lighting solutions
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in selling solar projects
• Knowledge of:
solar electric systems, and energy distribution methods, lighting systems solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with a capability to prepare and present complex proposals and contracts
• Familiarity with CAD, Helioscope,DIALUX EVO, PVSyst or equivalent solar design software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a proactive attitude towards meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering high-quality services
• Experience in customer service and sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry
