We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior BIM Engineer with a specialization in facade systems to join our dynamic team in Cairo. This role requires advanced expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a passion for delivering detailed, precise, and creative facade designs. As a Senior BIM Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of facade projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the BIM process for facade design and development.
– Create and maintain accurate BIM models, incorporating facade elements from design through to construction.
– Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of facade systems.
– Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts proactively.
– Produce detailed fabrication drawings and schedules using BIM software.
– Review and improve existing BIM standards, processes, and workflows within the company.
– Stay updated with the latest industry trends and BIM advancements to ensure continuous innovation.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
– 5+ years of experience in BIM engineering, with a strong focus on facades.
– Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools.
– In-depth knowledge of facade systems, materials, and construction techniques.
– Strong project management and coordination skills.
– Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
– Effective communication and teamwork skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
