KUFPEC (EGYPT) LIMITED is looking to hire a Reservoir Engineer. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering is needed with a minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in oil and gas reservoir practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze the fluid properties of the different fluids present in a reservoir.
• Determine and analyze the PVT properties and validate them with empirical correlations.
• Perform evaluation, analysis, and modeling of reservoir data to confirm hydrocarbon-in-place and reserves estimates and develop options to maximize asset value.
• Analyze reservoir rock properties measured and estimated by laboratory methods and empirical correlations.
• Perform & analyze test design and analysis to determine reservoir parameters and geometry
• Evaluate and apply various methodologies for estimating reserves such as volumetrics, material balance analysis, decline curve analysis, analogs, or simulation using both deterministic and probabilistic reserve computation approaches.
• Design, implement and monitor reservoir surveillance program and management plan.
• Monitor reservoir performance and evaluate production data and completion effectiveness from single or multiple wells using analytical models.
• Maintain up-to-date and auditable reserves database and booking reserve/resource classifications
• Prepare cost comparisons on budgeted versus actual expenditures
• Perform economic analysis and engineering evaluations for the field operation activities
• Support planning and finance with all business outlooks / budget forecasting and long-term Plan
• Reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops,
• Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed
