We are looking for a factory manager. Someone who is enthusiastic about their work, to work for a company located in Obour City.
Actually, we are looking for someone who enjoys managing teams, is eager to reach beyond what is expected and targeted, has his own philosophy, and believes that we, as Egyptians, can achieve anything.
Here is a sample of what is expected to be done by him.
Provide leadership, strategic direction, and tactical oversight to the facility, which includes all production operations and the related support functions directly or indirectly (Engineering, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain/Warehousing, Procurement, Technical Services, etc).
Implement Food Safety Regulations (FSR) compliance needs and food safety requirements for all products and personnel.
Improve manpower utilization to ensure the efficiency of operation.
increasing production, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality.
Develop and execute operating plans that lead to the achievement of the site and product goals.
assures that all staff performs their job duties with safety being a top priority.
Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime.
Commit to plant safety procedures.
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure an effective return on investment.
Ensure materials are procured and purchased in the right amounts to meet production demand.
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.

Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
Organize and schedule the shifts and staff the daily operations.
overseeing the warehousing activities on procedures regarding the storage of items and the flow of
incoming and outgoing movements.
Planning, organizing, and running optimum day-to-day operations
responsible for the factory’s financial management, monitoring the progress of projects, reviewing their work on variances, approved expenses, project billings, and collected payments.
Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff.
Stay up-to-date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
The plant manager supervises, assigns, and reviews the work of the staff in the plant, reviews performance evaluations of staff, and reports output to the HR Department.
supervising the production process, ensuring the factories run smoothly in terms of machines and efficiently in terms of manpower.
Train, educate, and discipline all employees on how to improve job duties and performance.
Work in coordination with relevant departments in preparing and executing a clear production plan.
Benefits
At least 10 years of experience as a factory manager.
BS degree in Business Management or related field
Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
Proven managerial experience
ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources)
Leadership Skills
Lean manufacturing
problem-solving skills.
