As part of our strategic expansion, we are inviting applications for the role of Electrical Engineer to join our high-performance Maintenance Team across our Juaymah (JGP) and Shedgum (SGP) sites.
🎯 About the Role:
Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing and improving preventive, corrective, and outage maintenance strategies for high-voltage systems and associated electrical assets. This includes oversight of electrical inspections, diagnostics, testing, contractor coordination, and continuous compliance with HSE and reliability standards.
👤 Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in electrical maintenance within the power generation or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of transformers, switchgears, protection systems, relays, UPS, batteries, and EHV systems.
Familiarity with asset management systems such as MAXIMO.
Solid understanding of arc flash safety, NFPA70, and international engineering standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE).
Ability to manage contractors, lead shutdown activities, and implement safety procedures.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills in a multicultural environment.
