✅Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design & BIM Modeling Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, modeling, and coordinating HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems for construction projects, using advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques. This position requires proficiency in mechanical design and the application of BIM technologies to deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable systems for various construction projects.
🌟Key Responsibilities:
1)Mechanical System Design:
-Design HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
-Prepare and review mechanical system layouts, calculations, and specifications.
-Perform load calculations for HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and plumbing.
-Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure designs meet project requirements.
-Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local building codes).
2)BIM Modeling and Coordination:
-Develop and maintain accurate BIM models for HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar.
-Collaborate with the design and construction teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure accurate system integration within the BIM model.
-Create and manage 3D models, detail drawings, and technical specifications for mechanical systems.
-Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts before construction.
-Provide BIM models for fabrication, installation, and operation of mechanical systems.
🏫Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
⚡️Experience:
0-3 years of experience in mechanical system design (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing) in the construction industry.
Proven experience with BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD MEP) and modeling mechanical systems.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection codes and standards.
🎯Skills:
Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and system design.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing system design principles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with software for load calculations and system analysis (e.g., HAP, Elite, or similar).
